The Same-Day Dental Implant Process Explained

In this video, Dr. Karen Becerra-Penagos explains how some patients can receive an implant and crown in one visit, and why upfront planning makes same-day results more predictable and stress-free.

When a patient comes to our office for a same-day implant and restoration, the process starts with careful planning. We review the medical history and plan the implant placement in advance to ensure it is done safely and correctly.

On the day of the procedure, we place the implant and then take a digital scan. Using our in-office CEREC technology, we design and create the crown the same day. This allows patients to leave with their implant and restoration in place, so they can function normally without delays and go home feeling confident.
