What Is a Snap-In Denture?
In this video, Dr. Karen Bacerra Penagos explains a denture option that stays secure while you use it, but still lets patients remove it easily for cleaning and daily care.
A snap-in denture is a type of denture that attaches to dental implants using special connectors built into the denture. These connectors allow the denture to “snap” securely into place.
The main advantage is stability. Instead of resting only on the gums or the palate, the denture is supported by the implants. This reduces movement and improves comfort. Even though it stays securely in place while eating and speaking, the denture can still be removed daily for cleaning.
Snap-in dentures give patients more confidence to chew, speak, and smile without worrying about the denture shifting or coming loose.
