These restorations keep the acrylic base but add housings on the underside that secure to dental implants. The Same-Day Denture Process
Before beginning the same-day denture process, schedule a free consultation.
During your appointment, we will take a 3D digital X-ray to assess the quality of your bone. If you have enough bone to support mini dental implants (which most patients do), we’ll then create a custom treatment plan to restore your smile.
After planning your implant placement, we send your case to a denture lab. There, technicians will craft your denture to fit perfectly in the contours of your mouth. The fabrication process typically takes around a week, but patients with more complex cases may need to wait a month before their prosthetic is ready.
Once your final denture arrives, we schedule your same-day denture appointment.
There, we use a local anesthetic to numb your mouth. Then we create small pilot holes in your jaw to secure the implant in place.
Because mini implants have a one-piece design, we place them in a single appointment. Once inside your jaw, these implants integrate with your bone to create a stable foundation. Then, we place your denture on top to restore your smile with a permanent, secure solution.
