Las impresoras 3D son equipos que nos permiten fabricar aparatos y restauraciones dentales dentro de la clínica. Con esta tecnología se pueden crear alineadores, retenedores, coronas temporales, coronas definitivas y otros dispositivos de ortodoncia hechos a la medida del paciente.

El proceso inicia con un escáner intraoral o un sistema de impresión digital. Este equipo toma una imagen exacta de los dientes y las encías. Esa imagen se envía a la impresora 3D, que la convierte en un aparato o una corona diseñada específicamente para la boca del paciente.

Con las impresoras 3D, muchos tratamientos pueden planificarse y fabricarse el mismo día, sin esperar semanas. Esto permite ofrecer soluciones más rápidas, precisas y adaptadas a las necesidades de cada paciente.
