What Is an Implant Bridge?
In this video, Dr. Karen Bacerra Penagos explains a fixed way to replace multiple teeth, and how implant bridges restore stability without the daily removal that dentures require.
An implant bridge is an option for patients who are missing one or more teeth in the same area. When there is a larger space, we place an implant on each side of the gap and use those implants to support a bridge.
The bridge typically replaces three teeth. Two of the teeth are supported by the implants, and the middle tooth fills in the space where the tooth is missing. This restoration is fixed in place, so it does not come in or out, and it allows patients to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
