How Long Does the Implant Denture Process Take?
In this video, Dr. Karen Becerra-Penagos explains how implant-stabilized dentures can be completed on a shorter, flexible timeline, and what patients should know before choosing this option.
When choosing an implant-stabilized denture as an alternative to a traditional denture, the timeline is usually about a month. The exact timing depends on the patient’s availability and how quickly appointments can be scheduled.
In many cases, we begin planning the denture at the same time we plan the implant placement. Because of that, the process can sometimes move much faster. In certain situations, treatment can be completed in as little as one week. For other patients, it may take closer to a month.
Overall, it is a straightforward and convenient process, and we work around each patient’s schedule to complete treatment as efficiently as possible.
