What To Do When Your Crown or Filling Falls Out
In this video, Dr. Karen Becerra Penagos explains what patients should do when a filling or crown breaks or falls out, and how our office can often restore the tooth quickly with a clear plan and fewer delays.
When a filling or crown falls out or breaks, we ask patients to contact us and come in as soon as possible. We make every effort to accommodate these appointments quickly.
If the damage is minor, a filling may be enough to restore the tooth. If the fracture is larger or a significant portion of the tooth is missing, a crown is usually the best option. We also have in-office technology that allows us to create crowns the same day, making the process as simple and smooth as possible for our patients.
