Opciones de Sedación en Healthy Habit Dental Care

En este video, la Dra. Myrna Aguilar explica qué diferencia a la sedación consciente de la intravenosa, y el requisito que todos los pacientes deben cumplir para avanzar con el procedimiento bajo protocolos seguros.

En la clínica ofrecemos dos tipos de sedación para apoyar los procedimientos dentales.

La sedación consciente se realiza con una pastilla recetada por nuestro equipo. El paciente debe tomarla una hora antes del procedimiento, siguiendo las indicaciones médicas proporcionadas en la receta.

La sedación intravenosa se aplica con la asistencia de un especialista certificado que la clínica coordina para estar presente el día del tratamiento. Este profesional administra la sedación y monitorea al paciente durante todo el procedimiento para mantener los protocolos de seguridad.

En ambos casos, el paciente debe asistir acompañado por un adulto responsable que pueda conducir. Después de recibir sedación, el paciente no podrá manejar, por lo que es obligatorio contar con alguien que lo lleve y lo traiga de forma segura.
