Meet Karen Becerra-Penagos, DDS, MPH

Hi, I’m Dr. Karen Becerra-Penagos, a general dentist here at Healthy Habit. I truly enjoy working here and caring for our patients. Helping people become the best version of themselves is what motivates me every day.

I’m originally from Colombia and have lived in the United States for about 27 years. I’m very involved in my local community and spend much of my time in Southern California, including San Diego and Temecula. Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with my daughter, my family, and my dog.

When it comes to my patients, my goal is simple: to provide the best care possible. I treat every patient the way I would treat a family member and always try to do what is right for their long-term health. Keeping your natural teeth for as long as possible is incredibly important. It helps you age well, feel confident, and eat, speak, and smile comfortably.

I care deeply about dentistry, and I truly enjoy what I do. I love helping people get out of pain and giving them the confidence to smile and move through life without worrying about their teeth.
